An incremental update makes sense for the Galaxy X Flip 4. Samsung is coming off the third generation, which was a re-imagining of the device. While the first two generations re-invented the clamshell flip phone for the smartphone market, they also had plenty of issues… weak screens and a lack of outside display among them. The X Flip 3 addressed those problems and felt much more like a complete vision of a modern flip phone. With the 4th generation, it seems Samsung is focusing on refining that success rather than trying to switch things up again. According to notable leakster Yogesh Brar, Z Flip 4 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display on the inside. This screen has a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, the external display will be there again, this time spanning 2.1-inches. Under the hood, Samsung is using Qualcomm’s latest generation Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU with 8GB of RAM. Storage will be available in 128GB and 256GB configurations. Camera duties are handled by two 12MP lenses as the main camera, and a 10MP on the outside handling selfies. Other specs include a 3,700 mAh battery, and wireless fast charging for 10W.
